We can know God. Jesus urged that eternal life in the present is knowing God and Jesus Christ whom God has sent. Know that Jesus Christ is fully God and that in Jesus, you are fully you.

IDENTITY – GOD AND YOU

Who God is comes to our understanding in the resurrected Christ by the Holy Spirit. It is a mistake to form a view of God from the mindset of the fall. It’s also an error to form a picture of human identity from the categories of the knowledge of good and evil. Seize the Jesus Lens. We came from heaven and we are going back to heaven -   heaven comes to earth as the effect of Christ in us and as us.
NEW CREATION
Seizing the incarnation as ours, the nature of God expressed in us as individuals becomes the substance of the entire society. This is why the incarnation/eucharist is foundational. We become the expression of Christ as yeast in bread. We call this transformed state the new creation and the Kingdom of God. It starts in you, becomes the church and grows as new creation culture – the Kingdom of God.
TWO BECOME ONE
The relations that will obtain among men and women are the relations that are germinal to being (existence) and to creation: I mean the relationships found in the trinity. The trinity is our womb and the trinity is our destiny. There’s nothing complex or pedantic about this. It’s Christ our life – known also as incarnation, oneness and ‘Christ come in our flesh’. The union of the trinity with each other is the kind of communion we now have with God in Christ. Life in Adam is not only undone. It is surpassed in Jesus Christ.
Any theology based on the perpetuation of the law at the hand of Christ is at best a red-herring and at worst a lie. The truth is that in Jesus, God has woven Himself into us -  and us into God.
ONENESS MAKES FOR AGENCY AND SUBSTANCE
Christ woven into our being means that the nature of God is woven into us and becomes manifest as us where we are and eventually as the social structure called the Kingdom of God.
PERICHORESIS
Stephen Morrison assures us that “The important lesson is that we cannot define personhood through our fallen human existence, but we must let God redefine personhood according to Godself. We must learn from God’s being, as it is expressed so well with the doctrine of perichoresis, what true personhood is.” (1) This is germane to holiness and wholeness. The riddle of being holy because God is holy is solved because God becomes us. ‘Realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you’ John 14.20
ONENESS/NOT THE LAW
Decide to live In Christ’s version of the His Kingdom and not some Christianised version of the knowledge of good and evil.
God’s being – is the basis of life. It’s the theory of everything because it’s not a theory but the ground of our being.
 
Perichoresis is key – the basis of our individuality, togetherness, of real uniqueness of personhood and the living out of communion with God and others rather than a mere community of words and god-speak. This is the relationship that is the trinity. Because of Jesus the kind of communion the trinity enjoy is our relationship with God. We participate in God in Jesus.
COMMUNITY – IN LETTER OF SPIRIT
A Believer once told me that God had told him that we needed to ‘do community’. He got together with people but these efforts went nowhere. Community will be realised when we agree that the communion that is God is incarnated in us. It comes from inside us. This is not a work. It is simply us agreeing with God that this is His living way. The Spirit will draw us together with those He means us to be in communion with.
LIVE FROM WHERE HE HAS POSITIONED YOU
 You can be Godly without being religious. God has incarnated Himself in our being so that we can celebrate and transform everyday living.
All life comes from union with God. We have this union in Jesus. It’s not something we should strive for but we should agree with God that it is ours. Leanne Payne calls it ‘practising the presence of God’. If there is a discipline to this, it involves a repeated choice to live in oneness with God rather than an attempt to live in the law, moralism, religion and obligation. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. Freedom to be. Freedom to be a life-giver as yourself.
SMELL OF DEATH
In this mode we are ministers of the new covenant. Not of the letter but of this spirit. Any other mode of ministry, particularly versions of the letter have an innate death-dealing influence. The Spirit of Christ in you, uniting you to the perichoresis of Godself is life without limit.
STRAIGHT AND NARROW WAY
The narrow way is Christ in you, Christ our life, Christ come in our flesh, Christ manifesting as you, George and Mildred. There’s nothing complex or religious about it.
This is the narrow way that bulges with God’s spirit and life. You can follow the herd if you will and promote religion instead of life. Life is simply Christ our life. We can gain a name and a certain respectability by promoting religious traditionalism. But this is not spiritual leadership. I found this in the paper today, ‘Morrison may be Prime Minister but he has yet truly to emerge as a leader. He has put a narrow project of political self-interest ahead of the enormous needs of nation.’ Don’t do this to the people of God if you desire to be a sighted leader of those who can see.
